 Hi all, due to the ridiculous amount of spam (500+ per day) I've been receiving to accounts at 32bits, I've turned off catchall forwarding for mail. This means you won't be able to email me unless you know my specific private address. So, until the spam dies off a bit, please use the forums to contact me - either via private message or by public posting. Apologies for this, as it does mean all the "report a bug" email links in the tutorials will now return a non-deliverable report.

| Good news, the problem preventing posting or searching in the forums has been fixed. The issue was caused by our hosts upgrading PHP on the webserver, which broke some incompatible code in the forum software. Never fear, your intrepid 32Bits team hacked our own fix into the forum code. All working nicely again, come and post something!

| Due to the increase in spam bots flooding the news item comment system with junk, I've deactivated the feature that allows anonymous users to post comments/replies to stories. If you want to post a comment you'll need to register an account - it takes a couple of minutes and lets you configure how the site appears, so it's worth doing. The forums will still accept anonymous posts for now, although this may change if they get spammed too.

| The brand new eProps module is now live! eProps is a custom-coded system for the 32Bits community to allow members to thank other members for their help, and for those helpers to receive recognition for their time & effort. If that all sounds a bit complex, it's really not. If you'd like to learn more, visit the eProps module by clicking the link in the Navigation panel on the left. | As you can see we're back online after a week of down-time. Sorry about that! Our hosts had some major hardware failure that took the server out for a while - 1 new RAID card and a lot of work, and we're back! A small number of files have been lost/corrupted in the recovery, so if you spot any broken pages, images or links please let me know (use the Contact option in the navigation panel). It's good to be back, and thanks for bearing with us!

| Just thought I'd make everyone aware that we're running a poll in the forums to decide which tutorials should be published next. If you don't come and vote, you don't get a say! Use the Forums link in the navigation panel on the left, then go to the 32Bits Tutorials forum. In other news, I'm really busy writing the next book for TRP. Just over 50% of the way through, and can't wait to finish it to get some coding time back again!
