 | |  Random Stuff: Off Topic: How to treat customers |
I don't normally post topics like this, but here's a deserved exception. These people have been blackmailed and generally screwed by their realtor, the person who should be working for them! In the fine tradition of warning others about this poor customer service, Jake and Sue Frievald have dedicated a website to explaining exactly how they've been mistreated, stonewalled and blackmailed. It's essential reading for anyone considering using Weichert Realtors, right here.

 | |  Random Stuff: Our good friend MoT returns! |
Off topic post! I'm just going to abuse the privilege of a captive audience to let you know that my good ex-scener friend Majic Mushroom has resurrected the excellent Monkey On Toast site. Now called Monkey Reloaded, it's a satire and current events commentary site that was so popular it's material was picked up by radio stations in the UK. Be warned, some of the material could be considered offensive so please visit with an open mind. Guaranteed amusement to be had! You can visit Monkey Reloaded via this link and show your support. Majic assures me there's lots of new material coming soon!

The brand new eProps module is now live! eProps is a custom-coded system for the 32Bits community to allow members to thank other members for their help, and for those helpers to receive recognition for their time & effort. If that all sounds a bit complex, it's really not. If you'd like to learn more, visit the eProps module by clicking the link in the Navigation panel on the left. You'll find a full FAQ to help you out. You must be a member to participate though, so if you're not - join now! To learn more and start earning some eProps, come join us in the forums. Time to get some props!

 | |  Random Stuff: Go Deffy, it's your birthday |
Just a little news update, because it's my birthday tomorrow! That's right, 16th July, send those presents in (or make a donation, if you're feeling nice!). I'm off somewhere for the weekend, but haven't been told where yet. So I should be back at some point, when I really will start with some more site updates. Just rushing to get the next 2 books published ASAP. Meanwhile, if anyone wants to buy me a really big present, how about this Star Trek apartment. Yup, it's a flat some guy has converted into a Star Trek scene. Crazy, eh!

 | |  Random Stuff: Back in the UK! |
Yep, I'm finally back in the UK! Actually I've been back for over a week, the topic should really read "back in the admin system". Stupid script locked me out and took me a few days to fix! Anyway, it's all good now. If you're interested, some photos from my holiday are here in this forum thread. While I'm on the front page (and you're reading this), I'll give a wholehearted recommendation for the Transformers PS2 game. The graphics are excellent, the gameplay is solid and it's great fun. Go buy it!

 | |  Random Stuff: UK Police strike again... |
A broken speed camera caught a guy apparently doing 406mph in a Peugeot 406, which unfortunately for the Police only has a top speed of 127mph. But they wouldn't be British Police if they didn't try to prosecute him anyway. More of our tax money at work. Read the full story here. For those of you not from the UK, I don't normally post news like this but there is a major problem with the Police using speed cameras to raise money illegally instead of stopping dangerous driving. Or catching real criminals. Plus, the bureaucracy in this country is crazy.
